Bandy Manufacturing recently had the pleasure of welcoming 12 students from the Van Nuys High School Manufacturing Academy for a facility tour. The group, made up of juniors and seniors, visited our operations to gain firsthand insight into how aerospace hinges are manufactured and to better understand the real-world applications of the skills they are learning in the classroom.

During the visit, students had the opportunity to walk through our production areas, observe aerospace manufacturing processes in action, and engage with members of our team about careers in advanced manufacturing. These conversations allowed students to learn more about the various roles involved in producing precision aerospace components, from engineering and machining to quality assurance and production planning.
At Bandy Manufacturing, we believe that investing in the next generation of skilled professionals is essential to the future of the manufacturing industry. Programs like the Van Nuys High School Manufacturing Academy play a vital role in preparing students for careers in technical fields by combining classroom education with exposure to real industry environments.
We are proud to support initiatives that inspire young talent and provide opportunities for students to explore potential career paths in manufacturing and aerospace. Building connections between education and industry helps ensure that students are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to succeed in today’s workforce.
Bandy Manufacturing values its partnership with Van Nuys High School and looks forward to continuing to support these students as they pursue their future goals in manufacturing and beyond.
